AAVE on Aptos liquidity incentives

Overview

Metrom powers the liquidity incentive campaign for AAVE’s first non-EVM deployment on Aptos. Liquidity providers who supply stablecoins to AAVE markets on Aptos can earn additional $APT rewards on top of their base lending yields.

Campaign details

• Reward token: $APT
• Eligible assets: USDC, USDT
• Estimated APR: ~6% on net-supply
• Rewrd distribution frequency: Every 4 hours

Your rewards are calculated based on your net-supply position.

Net supply formula:

Net Supply = Total supplied assets - borrowed assets (USDT + USDC)

Qualifying actions

To be eligible for $APT rewards, you must:

1. Supply USDC or USDT to AAVE on Aptos after campaign launch
2. Maintain your supply position (withdrawals reduce your net supply)
3. Have a positive net supply balance (supplied > borrowed)

How to participate

1. Connect your wallet

   • Visit AAVE on Aptos 
   • Connect your Aptos-compatible wallet (Petra, Backpack etc.)
   • Ensure you’re on the Aptos network

2. Supply stablecoins

   • Select either USDC or USDT from the supply markets
   • Click “Supply” and enter the amount you wish to deposit
   • Review the transaction details including gas fees
   • Confirm the transaction in your wallet

3. Start earning

   • Base interest: Earned from borrowers on AAVE
   • $APT rewards: Distributed every 24 hours through Metrom
   • Your position is automatically tracked for rewards

Claiming rewards

1. Navigate to claims page

   • Visit https://aptos.metrom.xyz/en/claims 
   • Connect your Aptos-compatible wallet

2. Review claimable rewards

   • Your claimable $APT balance will be displayed
   • Rewards accumulate until you claim them
   • There is no minimum claim amount

3. Execute claim transaction

   • Click “Claim rewards”
   • Review the transaction details and confirm the transaction in your wallet

4. Receive your $APT

   • $APT tokens are transferred directly to your wallet
   • You can view your balance in your wallet or on Aptos explorers

Troubleshooting

Rewards not showing

• Wait 4 hours: Rewards are distributed every 4 hours
• Check net supply: Ensure your net supply (supplied - borrowed) is positive
• Reconnect wallet: Try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet
